Flower chafers are a group of scarab beetles, comprising the subfamily Cetoniinae. Many species are diurnal and visit flowers for pollen and nectar, or to browse on the petals. Dasyvalgus sp, could be Dasyvalgus rollei as recorded, found in Singapore.
